Position Overview



As a Customer Service Representative at Armour Alloys, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll play a vital role in processing orders, handling inquiries, and coordinating with our sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure customer needs are met quickly and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships in the metals industry.

Key Responsibilities



Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, order status, and delivery timelines. Accurately enter, process, and track orders in the company's ERP system. Provide product knowledge support (grades, gauges, finishes, and applications for stainless steel and aluminum). Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of customer orders. Proactively communicate with customers regarding backorders, shipping updates, or changes. Investigate and resolve customer concerns, including product, billing, and shipping issues. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions. Support account managers with quotes and follow-ups as needed. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications



High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred. 1-3 years of customer service experience (industrial distribution, manufacturing, or metals industry experience a strong asset). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP/CRM experience preferred. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
