The UPS Store is seeking a reliable and customer-focused
Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Retail Associate
to join our team. This role involves handling packages, assisting customers with shipping needs, and performing general store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and process incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare packages for shipping, including packing, labeling, weighing, and scanning
Assist customers with shipping, packaging, printing, and mailbox services
Operate shipping software, POS systems, and handheld scanners
Verify shipment accuracy and maintain proper documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic customer concerns
Follow all UPS Store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Job Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and typing skills
Ability to lift packages up to 50-70 lbs (with or without accommodation)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Retail, shipping, or warehouse experience is a plus (but not required)
