: The Customer Service Representative works together with the existing Sales team to achieve the annual sales budget through the promotion of Meridian products. This is accomplished by working together with the RSM's and the dealer network as calls come in order to establish a working relationship with them. The Customer Service Representative also handles inbound sales queries and creating sales as well as quotations.

Job Duties
Emphasize saleable features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained
Develop an efficient method of follow up on all quotations
Maintain accurate, complete and timely sales information
Overcome business and technical objections of prospective customers
Address customer concerns in a professional, productive, and timely manner
Handle inbound sales calls to convert calls into sales
Prepare and keep dealer data base current and assist the regional sales managers
Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature current, accurate, and complete
Investigate and professionally resolve customer complaints regarding deliveries
Attend trade shows as required
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Completion of Grade 12
Technical or post secondary education an advantage
High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM software packages
Experience in agricultural, commercial and industrial sales an asset
Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Demonstrated ability to attract sales and maintain customer relationships
Solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent teamwork and team building skills
Knowledge of cost analysis and budgeting techniques
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
