Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for directly communicating with customers regularly. You will provide product/service information, fulfill order requests, resolve any emerging problems, and act as a liaison on behalf of our client with the primary objective of driving performance improvements, brand recognition, and brand loyalty. You are a vital player in scaling the growth of our client and creating memorable, long-lasting impressions for the customer. As a Purchaser you will oversee the procurement of raw materials and services necessary to produce folded carton packaging. This role is critical in ensuring timely sourcing materials such as paperboards, and production supplies, while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing procurement, strong vendor management skills, and knowledge of materials used in the packaging industry.

Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities:



Work with customers daily to provide product and service information, address and resolve concerns, and process order request, enquiries, and escalations. Document all customer activities, resolutions, requests, and complaints Meet with Senior Leadership to evaluate progress, set goals, and maintain a high level of performance. Preparing quotes, coordinate project completion timelines with customers and forecast analysis. Coordinate with various departments to ensure that job is completed as per the customers requirements and satisfaction. Technical support and pricing management. Purchase of raw materials as per the job specifications. Using excel for reporting and tracking purposes, creating production dockets, regularly updating sage and our ERP systems for storage and processing of data. Inventory tracking and creation and release of product serial numbers. Assisting with logistics when required.

Purchaser Job Responsibilities:



Research, evaluate, and source suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and suppliers. Issue purchase orders and track delivery timelines to ensure timely arrival of goods. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory or warehouse teams to avoid overstock or stockouts. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. Collaborate with internal departments to understand material or service requirements. Evaluate supplier performance and initiate improvements or changes when needed. Stay informed on market trends, supply chain issues, and pricing developments. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Prepare reports

Provide support to your immediate manager with various initiatives and operational tasks as needed.



Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications / Skills:



At least 1-2 years of proven Customer Service, Customer Support, or Sales Experience. At least 1-2 years of proven Purchase Experience. Experience with ERP systems Microsoft Office knowledge Possess a confident attitude and strong communication and presentation skills Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills Empathetic demeanor and passion for working and helping people in an individual or team setting Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
