They are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative plays a key role in delivering outstanding service to both trade and retail customers. This position involves assisting electrical and plumbing contractors with orders and technical inquiries, supporting walk-in customers, managing transactions, and ensuring an efficient, customer-focused retail experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service to electrical and plumbing contractors, builders, and retail customers.
  • Support customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and order fulfillment.
  • Process sales transactions accurately (in-store, phone, and online orders).
  • Handle inquiries, quotes, and returns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regular B2B clients and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Stay informed on new products, promotions, and technical specifications to provide expert advice.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary products.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of customer service experience, preferably within a hardware, building supply, or trades-related environment. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or construction materials is highly valued, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A customer-first mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office tools is required, and the ability to lift and move products is expected. The successful candidate will be dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting. A passion for delivering top-tier customer service is essential, as is the flexibility to work Saturdays.
