We are a stairs and railings company specializing in high-quality custom work for residential and commercial projects. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Customer Service & Operations Associate to join our team. This position combines customer service, quoting, and warehouse/material coordination.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team environment, communicating with customers, and keeping things organized behind the scenes.
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, both walk-ins and those who reach us by phone, email, or online, and you'll help guide them through the quoting and order process. You'll also coordinate materials with suppliers and ensure the installation crew has everything ready for their jobs.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist walk-in customers in the store
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
Gather project details and prepare quotes using provided templates
Follow up with customers about quotes, orders, and payments
Coordinate with suppliers for material orders and pickups
Prepare materials for customer pickups or installation crews
Keep basic inventory and product organization in the warehouse
Update records and communications using a computer (email, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or office/operations roles
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable using computers, email, and Microsoft Office/Google Sheets
Valid driver's license (for occasional supplier pickups or deliveries)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally (for small material handling)
Knowledge of construction, stairs, or millwork is an asset but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
