We're looking for a bilingual (English/French) Customer Service & Online Marketing Associate to join our growing team in Cumberland, Ottawa. This role is a mix of customer service and online sales support -- helping customers in-store, by phone, and through online platforms like Facebook and Kijiji. You'll answer product questions, process sales, and keep our listings and promotions up to date.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and comfortable with both people and technology. You'll be the first point of contact for many customers, so a friendly attitude and problem-solving mindset are key.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers effectively.
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency.
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Process transactions
Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer experience.
Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and product offerings.
Manage online listings (Facebook, Kijiji, website updates) and respond to customer messages
Support marketing campaigns (ads, promotions, social media posts)
Assist with warranty claims and service intake documentation
General store support, including light showroom setup, merchandising and daily upkeep.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional support.
Excellent communication skills, Bilingual (English and French, spoken and written)
Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Comfortable with computers, online listings, and social media platforms
Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions effectively.
Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
