Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team. This dual-role position involves providing outstanding customer service while managing shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. You will assist in both departments, allowing you to grow and familiarize yourself with the business.
A valid class 5 drivers license and a vehicle in good working condition is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Inbound calls - assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Address customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Process orders, payments, and service requests efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update them as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer issues and provide the best solutions.
Shipping and Receiving
- Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Maintain organized records of shipments and inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of inventory in the warehouse.
- Work closely with suppliers, couriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and shipment accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service, shipping, or receiving is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move items as required.
