Position Summary: Act as a liaison between the Company and the customer(s).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities of designated customer account to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and parameters.
  • Acts as a communications link to customer purchasing personnel. Obtain, distribute, and maintain customer purchase orders including SAP pricing.
  • Participate in a team environment to negotiate terms and conditions and pricing for new axle systems business.
  • Assist management in the preparation of the annual business planning document.
  • Work to resolve revenue and material variances and communicate if there are issues to customer and management.
  • Organizes meetings with customer and plant personnel to coordinate program activities as required.
  • Coordinate engineer change pricing (piece price and tooling) with internal department and customer. Manages customer and supplier tests and replacement parts/prototype orders (pricing).
  • Monitor annual cost reductions from suppliers and arrange for new POs accordingly.
  • Process purchase requisitions for tooling and/or for special build.
  • Engineering change closing and GAMS approval process. Serve as a backup for engineering change and bill of material management in SAP and JIT.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Associate\'s degree and 1+ years of professional-level engineering/analysis experience (internship/co-op included) encompassing one or more of the following areas: test engineering/analysis, gear manufacturing analysis/planning, product design/development, and/or program/launch management.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision
