The Role

You'll help keep the gears turning across all areas of our game-making process -- from

production and packaging

to

marketing and creative design

. You'll work closely with co-founder Paul to bring new games to life, get them into players' hands, and keep our growing community happy.

If you like solving problems, learning new tools, and doing work that awakens wonder, this might be the perfect part-time gig.

What You'll Do

Game Production & Fulfillment

Assemble, package, and ship Escape Mail games Prepare orders through Shopify and OrderDesk Handle quality control and shipping coordination Operate our in-house printer and basic production tools when necessary

Creative & Digital Work

Edit and update our Shopify website Help design marketing emails to 15,000+ subscribers Capture and edit product photos and short social videos Maintain an active social media presence on Facebook and Instagram Contribute ideas to new game designs and storylines Preference given to someone comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite

Customer, Sales & Events

Attend occasional weekend markets to demo and sell games Engage with customers on social media Interact with customers in person with great energy

You'll Learn How To

Produce and distribute physical products at scale Manage an online store, from end to end Work with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, OrderDesk, and Square Understand the behind-the-scenes of a creative small business Turn ideas into products people love

Details

Part-time: 10-15 hours/week. Details are flexible, but ideally 3-4 hours/day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm. Location: Home office in Bowness, Calgary Occasional weekend markets or special events, particularly in November and December. Compensation based on experience
