Customer Service Coordinator Internal Medicine Department

Job Description

The Internal Medicine Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the IM service runs smoothly and will provide the best possible customer service to their clients. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

Organizing multi-day billing and making sure it is up-to-date and understandable for clients -Daily client communication Creating estimates/explaining costs to clients Arranging and collecting monies for deposits Ensuring any necessary authorization forms are signed/filed prior to procedures Calling clients for updates/taking phone calls on behalf of Dr's Managing insurance pre-approvals/pay directs, when required Monitoring department email, booking appointments Coordinating euthanasia consent forms, cremation preferences when necessary Facilitating medication refills Going over discharge instructions with clients/answering common questions

Qualifications



Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication skills Proven customer service experience, particularly in a surgical or healthcare setting Effective phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries professionally Analytical skills to assess and improve service processes
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
