Ocean Pacific Marine is the most comprehensive marine store and boatyard on Northern Vancouver Island. Serviced by a 150 ton Marine Travelift, Ocean Pacific Marine has been providing parts and service to recreational boaters and commercial vessels in the Campbell River area since 1985. Boatyard projects vary in scope from local recreational & commercial vessels to Department of National Defense & Government of Canada vessels including Coast Guard & RCMP.

We are currently recruiting for a

Boatyard Customer Service Coordinator.

The Boatyard Coordinator is the first point of contact for Boatyard customers. Providing excellent customer service while booking customers into the Boatyard, reviewing essential documentation with them and processing their invoices and customer account details. The Boatyard Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Boatyard Project Managers. This is a fast-paced job requiring multi-tasking.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in customer service and administration. Including but not limited to:

Excellent organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Including in person, phone and email communication. Ability to develop relationships with regular customers, providing exceptional customer service. Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast paced, fast changing work environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word & Excel. Experience with Point-of-Sale systems including the processing of customer invoices and cash handling. Experience with boats or the marine industry would be an asset but is not required.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive wage and benefits package.
