Snowbird Aviation Services has an opportunity as a Customer Service Attendant within Fond-du-Lac, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting passenger check-ins including: process ticket, announce flights, collect boarding passes, assist with baggage requirements and escort passengers during departures and arrivals
  • Cargo acceptance and processing as well as assisting with ground service duties when required.
  • Ensure that passengers travelling are deemed "fit to fly" in accordance with the regulations.
  • Receiving and communicate weather information, flight times, and passenger loads.
  • Preparing flight/freight manifest, passenger tickets, and load sheets
  • Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments.
  • Assist with baggage handling and track lost baggage.
  • Coordinate transportation, meal requirements, and hotel reservations as required.
  • Problem solving and making a positive contribution to overall company operations.
General Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the company\'s vision, mission, and values.
  • Customers service attendants will be cross-trained with ground service attendants, detailers, and cargo agents, where applicable, to provide those duties/coverage when necessary.
  • Safety responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS) manual.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
  • Computer skills an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.
  • Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker).
  • Organizational skills imperative.
  • Possibly required to obtain an Aircraft Radio license and Restricted Area Identity Card
Equipment Used:
  • Baggage handling equipment
  • Radio base unit
Typical Physical and Cognitive Demands:
  • Required to be on call for evening and weekend shifts and may be required to respond to callouts as required.
  • Able to work long and sometimes irregular hours under different weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
