About the Role:





We are seeking (4) customer-focused and enthusaisatic individuals to join our team as Customer Service Attendants, reporting to the Wellness and Program Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for front-line customer service and membership support at the Pryde Aquatic & Wellness Centre (Pryde AWC).


Responsibilities:




Provide customer service by responding to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, registering participants, and assisting with facility bookings. Support membership services including processing transactions, managing waitlists, and guiiding patrons through orientations and program materials. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons, promoting Pryde AWC programs and responding to feedback and complaints professionally. Deliver group fitness classes and/or personal, group, and team training sessions at the Pryde AWC, tailored to various age groups and demographics. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily logs, participation numbers, and reports using recreation software systems. Assist with facility operations, including opening and closing reception, cash handling, lobby setup, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Provide facility tours and guidance, helping patrons navigate the Pryde AWC and understand available services and amenities. Promote and adhere to health and safety policies. Administer minor first aid when required and complete accident/injury report forms.

Organization: You manage time effectively, maintain accurate recrods, and ensure fitness areas and reception spaces are clean and well-prepared. Independence: You take initiative in managing responsibilities and addressing participant needs with minimal supervision.

Education and Training:




High School diploma or GED required. Post-secondary diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, Recreation and Leisure Studies, or a related field is preferred. Current Standard First Aid Certification is required. HIGH FIVE Certification (Principles of Healthy Childhood Development) is preferred. A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

Experience and Knowledge:



Minimum of two (2) years of front-line customer service and/or membership servcies experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs. Familiarity with ActiveNet recreation software and Canva design software, considered an asset. Previous experience in a multi-use recreation facility or high-paced customer service setting is prefferred. Experience creating program marketing and promotional materials, including social media content, is an asset.

Wage:

$28.69 to $32.61 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
