Customer Service Associate (Contract)

Kent Building Supplies is looking for a Part Time Customer Service Associate (Contract) in Gander, NL.

Are you open to working part-time up to full-time hours? Kent Building Supplies is seeking passionate individuals to join our team and provide outstanding customer service on a contract basis!

Customer Service Associates are responsible for interacting with customers and managing all transactions efficiently and accurately while working with our computerized system.

This position includes open availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers Operate?scanners?and credit card/debit card terminals Provide?excellent?customer?service Collect payments and bag purchases for customers Keep the checkout area clean and orderly Maintain front end department merchandise Answering front desk phone and directing calls Assist other departments and functions as required Able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders

Qualifications:

Strong?mathematical skills?and?basic?computer system knowledge Ability to work independently in a?fast-paced?environment Customer?satisfaction-oriented Strong communication and time management skills Problem solving and decision making Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset Ability to handle?moderate physical demands: standing for?4 hours, lift?a medium size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.
