The Fowl Farmer

in Richmond is in search of a part time Food Beverage and Customer Service Supervisor! Please note that this is NOT a farm laborer position.

We are looking for a mature individual who is able to multitask and manage our store over the weekend! We need someone to start immediately to begin training.

The Fowl Farmer is a small family-run farm-gate market in East Richmond. The May family has been farming in Richmond for over 100 years, and our market has been in operation since 2012. As long- time farmers, we believe in eating and supporting local: our market focuses on made-in-BC fresh and frozen poultry, other meats, artisan products, and so much more. We love our loyal customers, and are growing our business year over year. We're a small team, and we are looking for your help to grow and support our business to grow!

The position: Part Time Customer Service Supervisor

This part-time role would assist our staff in all aspects of daily operations including in store transactions, customer service, maintaining the storefront, trimming and handling produce and poultry, and making our speciality items. We are a small, family run business so the right fit is important! Follow through on all customer questions, requests and resolving concerns as needed. We are looking for a self-motivated, positive individual with good time management skills and able to work in a team environment. The right individual must be able to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) as well as throughout the week and have their own mode of transport as we are not located near a bus stop.

Desired Work Experience:

Retail and restaurant experience, specifically with poultry Food Safe Certification or willingness to become certified Customer Service Focus Team Oriented Knowledge of our market is an asset
