Job Summary

TEAMS Transport is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting two Customer Service Representatives providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Duties

Assist the Customer Service Representatives with providing elevated customer service. Respond promptly to customers inquiries via phone, email, or text. Assist customers with shipment placements, modifications, and tracking. Resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records. Perform internal reporting to maintain service levels and monitor for continuous improvements. Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer experience. Perform customer web portal monitoring and updates. Responsible for holiday and break coverage for the Customer Service Representatives. Maintain professionalism and adhere to phone etiquette standards during all interactions. Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English. Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to handle challenging situations. Adaptability and flexibility skills are a must. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Familiarity with the trucking industry and/logistics is an advantage.
