  • This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the primary NOVA Chemicals work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Employees can opt out of the hybrid schedule and will be expected to work Monday-Friday from the primary work location.

The successful candidate will collaborate with groups across NOVA to ensure that our customers consistently receive quality products.You Will Use Your Expertise To:
  • Develop and implement quality strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
  • Identify and champion initiatives to drive improvements in product quality and customer experience.
  • Demonstrate effective decision making and communication, engaging with appropriate stakeholders across the organization.
  • Embrace and utilize digital tools and identify opportunities to employ advanced analytics.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective resolution of customer complaints.
  • Develop and maintain effective, professional, customer relationships.
  • Active application and support of Responsible Care\xc2\xae principles and procedures.
  • Represent NOVA at industry associations and conferences.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree with 10+ years of related experience OR technical school diploma with 12+ years of related practical experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations relevant to NOVA\'s products.
  • Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Knowledge of polyethylene properties, applications, manufacturing processes, and customer end use.
  • Knowledge of common polymer tests and related procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Passion to provide great customer experience working with NOVA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communication skills including presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills with an aptitude for thinking outside of the box.
  • Effective time management/organizational skills.

Additional Information:
  • Relocation will be considered to the nearest geographical NOVA Chemicals\' location for this position
  • Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%+ of the time, mostly domestic Canada and the U.S.A.
  • Must possess a valid driver\'s license and be eligible to travel easily between Canada and the U.S.A.
