Job Description

OVERVIEW



The Customer Experience Specialists in our warehouse/office in Calgary, Alberta are primarily responsible for receiving supplier orders, for assisting our B2B customers in placing their orders and for processing and shipping those orders to our customers in a timely manner.



Responsibilities



Create positive and lasting relationships with our customers through phone, email and in person. Continually learn and increase product knowledge and assist customers in growing their product knowledge and business with us. Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and order status updates. Engage in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services. Maintain a professional demeanor while demonstrating excellent phone and email etiquette. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records. Print orders from website each morning and develop a workplan for the day in order to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Manage order and backorder interface between our Shopify website portal and Quickbooks. Assist with receiving supplier orders and process customer orders. Continually look for efficiency improvement for processes and communicate your suggestions to the team Assist the Marketing and Operations Managers as appropriate; take on other duties as appropriate Keep warehouse and offices organized and clean with the participation of all team members.

Skills



Strong communication and listening skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers. Proven experience in customer service/sales roles with a focus on enhancing the customer experience. Self motivated; thrive in a fast-paced team environment Ability to perform data entry tasks with attention to detail; computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office 365 - able to use Excel and Word. Able to work using website portal and Quickbooks - training will be provided. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess customer feedback and identify areas for improvement. Ability to lift boxes up to 40 lbs; able to reach for product on shelves using stepladder as needed. Knowledge of the quilting/sewing industry and/or craft is an asset Some business education is an asset Interest in Future business ownership will be seriously considered but not essential

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
