The Outpost Sportscards & Games is a modern retail service provider in all thinngs trading
cards and collectibles. The Outpost serves customers locally and across the globe through our
e-commerce platforms.

Description of the Role:



As a sales associate, you will be the first person customers see when entering the store and the last team
member they will remember. You will be handling transactions, but most importantly, you will represent our
company with every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:



? You will inspire our customers to take part in the hobby
? Most importantly, you will help us build relationships!
? Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries
? Processing web orders while on the phone
? Inventory management / web platform maintenance.
Required Education and Skills
? Previous customer service experience and/or cash handling experience
? Ability to quickly strike up conversations with customers
? Self-motivated professional with a positive work attitude
? Strong math skills with the ability to keep a balanced till
? Organized with attention to detail and takes direction well with ability to work independently
? Passion and knowledge in trading cards, Sports & TCG (pokemon, magic, etc) as well as Games Workshop products and Dungeons & Dragons is considered a MAJOR asset.
? Competency with Microsoft Suite and various web platforms is considered an asset
? Social Media experience considered an asset.
? Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week

Do you actively play any TCG games (pokemon, magic, etc), table top games such as Warhammer or other Games Workshop products, OR role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons? If so, please tell us a little about your interests and knowledge in this field! Do you actively follow any of the 4 major sports leagues in North America (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL) and are you able to easily identify with the various teams and players of each mentioned league and current trends in each? All applicants should have some very general knowledge of professional sports and the athletes involved. Do you possess or have any knowledge related to the trading card industry in general? Do you collect sports cards or other related non sport trading cards (pokemon, magic, etc..)? Please note knowledge of the industry is not necessary to apply (however considered a MAJOR asset), if you have an outgoing personality, willingness to learn and able to communicate well with customers, all applicants will potentially be considered.
