Customer Communications Lead






The Customer Communications Lead strives to:




have customers choose Bayer as their preferred provider for their operation; enable customer facing teams to run their local business for the benefit of customers and Bayer; and improve Bayer's customer experience and maximize awareness, engagement and the value of the Bayer brand while optimizing ROI through impactful campaigns.

What you will do:




Lead the development and implementation of communication strategies that enhance awareness, consideration, demand and loyalty for key brands and the overall Bayer portfolio using a mix of communication mediums Co-create with cross functional stakeholders including the Canadian Marketing Community as well as Product Teams, Market Development, Legal and Regulatory. The goal being to raise alignment and increase the impact of broad foundational components and localized flexible tactics that ensure customer relevance and maximize impact and efficiency Reinforce the Bayer brand experience striving for stakeholders to uphold brand standards and consistency Guide internal and external stakeholders as well as agency resources to ensure positioning is consistent with enterprise, brand and marketing objectives Lead development of prioritized support materials, advertising and sponsorships Lead development of campaigns that enhance the launch of new products and accelerate the growth of prioritized existing brands/solutions Lead content creation that supports prioritized customer facing activities. This can include major field tours, tradeshows, customer events and other customer focused requirements at the Unit level Manage communication plans to deliver on-time and within defined budgets while optimizing ROI Through digital means, actively seek efficient and impactful ways to connect with customers both broadly (mass) and targeted

Who you are:




B.A./B.S. in Agriculture, Marketing, Communications, or Business, with a minimum of 5 years of aligned experience Thorough understanding of communications, direct marketing and technical understanding of Bayer's complete portfolio Strong knowledge of the grower customer in Canada Effective organizational, project management and time management abilities Able to prioritize effectively and have strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams while supporting multiple priorities and deadlines Commitment to co-creation, collaboration and teamwork Possess a valid Canadian driver's license
