A Child's Place Family Dayhome Agency is seeking a warm, organized, and people-oriented
Customer Care Representative / Administrative Assistant
to join our frontline team. This role is the first point of contact for families and plays a key role in supporting enrollments, parent communication, and administrative coordination.
The ideal candidate has a friendly, calm, and professional approach, strong communication skills, and enjoys helping families feel supported and confident throughout the childcare enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Care & Parent Support
Serve as the first point of contact for parents and guardians inquiring about dayhome services
Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
Follow up with families interested in enrolling their children in a dayhome
Guide parents through the enrollment process and answer general program questions
Enrollment & Documentation
Prepare, send, and follow up on enrollment packages and parent contracts
Ensure contracts and required documents are completed, signed, and properly filed
Coordinate with internal teams to support child placement and onboarding
Billing & Payment Follow-Up
Follow up with families regarding outstanding payments in a respectful and professional manner
Assist with basic billing inquiries and payment coordination
Maintain accurate records related to payments and parent accounts
Administrative Support
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Support day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned
Assist with scheduling, data entry, and internal coordination
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Friendly, patient, and "people-first" personality
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using email, basic office software, and online systems
Preferred (Asset) Qualifications
Experience in customer service, administration, childcare, or family-focused services
Experience working with parents or families
Knowledge of childcare or early learning environments is an asset
