The Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated superstar Pharmacy Assistant to join Pocketpills amazing team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver quality customer (member) service to patients. Assist members across various communication channels - phone, email, SMS and chat with the order, billing/insurance, medication or other service-related questions Process new and refill prescriptions Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries. Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies. Verify prescription information is complete and accurate. Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain member satisfaction. Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses. Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations. Collect, organize and evaluate patient information. Manage both inbound and outbound calls. Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our members having in each interaction. Take a hands-on approach to resolve every issue, owning it from start to finish. Provide best-in-class service experience for our members while working in a fast-paced environment. Understand that each interaction is about more than solving a single problem, but an opportunity to build a long-term relationship.

Qualifications (Must-Haves):

1-2 years of pharmacy experience Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications. Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills. Strong member service focus. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence. Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member. Detail-oriented. Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently exceeding productivity and quality stand. Flexible to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays. Enjoys multitasking and is proficient in computer handling skills.

The annual compensation is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.
