The Role


Pedalheads is looking for part-time Customer Care Associates who will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Your main role will be to assist with inquiries into our children's bike and swim programs, resolutions and appropriate follow-up. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, have an energetic outgoing personality and be able to confidently approach customers. You must also be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, managing your tasks effectively. As someone who will represent Pedalheads on the front line, ultimately you will help maintain our established reputation as a company that offers excellent customer care.





Availability


Evenings and weekends required. There are currently 16-24 hours available with the possibility of additional shift coverage. This position is based out of both Vancouver Head Office with potential of going to other locations. Training sessions at our Head Office will also be required. Our Office is located at 4894 Fraser Street. V5V 4H5.

Key Responsibilities



In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build in this role, you'll also be:


- Provide exceptional customer service through consistent customer conversations and follow-ups. You will also be required to maintain positive relationships with customers and partners.

Manage program registrations, manage check-in process as customers and children arrive, process merchandise sales, and handle administrative tasks. Communicate program/class updates effectively to customers and to managers. Answer phone calls and email inquiries regarding registrations, program promotions, payments, refunds, and address any family concerns. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain facility cleanliness. Coordinate with the Operations Team to resolve customer issues.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience



We believe that a great team is built on a collection of skills, knowledge and experiences and we consider all of this when we review your application:Fluent in English (verbal and written). Superb customer service skills and an upbeat, outgoing personality. Completion of Grade 12 required; post-secondary education is an asset. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; exposure to call centers, retail, hospitality, or front desk environments is a plus. Strong organizational skills required for administrative tasks. Strong problem-solving abilities for customer issues. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Office 365. A driver's license is an asset.


WAGE


$18.40 to $20.00 per hour based on experience
