Our incredible team at Mosaic is looking for a Customer and Administrative Services Lead (affectionately referred to as a Lead Admin) to join our progressive, mixed animal practice in Regina, SK on a full-time, permanent basis! Sherwood Animal Clinic serves both Equine and Small Animal Clients.

The Opportunity



The Lead Admin helps in all areas of the veterinary clinic from general administration, reception coverage and customer service. Duties may include;
  • Greeting clients and pets,
  • Differentiating routine cases from emergency cases;
  • Scheduling appointments;
  • Entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer;
  • Generating invoices and explaining them to clients;
  • Processing payments; and managing the retrieval and storage of medical records
  • Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the clinic,
  • Overseeing stock and inventory processes,
  • Acting as a backup to the clinic manager to assist with accounting tasks and staff support.


The Lead Admin also assists doctors, technicians and the clinic manager where needed. Our employees are passionate and show great compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients endure. As we are a mixed animal practice, applicants? must be comfortable working around multiple species of animals.

The Ideal Candidate



As our ideal candidate, you have:
  • Completed a minimum of a high-school degree;
  • Competence and comprehension of the English language;
  • A passion for what you do every day! Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are a must;
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • A minimum of 2 years? office experience;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Cash and Inventory management experience;
  • Previous industry experience or certification relative to the veterinary profession will be given preference;
  • Knowledge of the equine industry and medical terminology would be considered an asset;
  • Preference given to candidates with accounting and / or management skills;
  • A strong desire to build trusting relationships with clients;
  • A positive team player attitude to enable our team to grow and flourish;
  • The ability to lift 35+ pounds without assistance;
  • Permission to work in Canada without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor a work permit for this role.
