About The Role
As the
Customer Acquisition and Retention Specialist
, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones across both our
Product Sales
(eco-friendly cleaning products) and S
ubscriptions
(managed via Recharge). This will involve managing multi-channel acquisition campaigns, nurturing leads, optimizing the subscription experience, and implementing retention strategies that drive long-term loyalty. Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition
: Develop and implement campaigns that drive new customer acquisition for
Product sales
(eco-friendly cleaning products) and
Subscriptions
(through Recharge app). Use channels like paid ads, email marketing, social media, and referral programs.
Subscription Growth & Management
: Work with the Recharge app to optimize the customer journey for subscription services. Drive new sign-ups, enhance retention rates, and increase the lifetime value of subscribers.
Customer Retention
: Create and manage strategies to increase customer retention for both product and subscription customers. Develop loyalty programs, personalized offers, and follow-up campaigns to maintain engagement and customer satisfaction.
Lead Nurturing
: Develop automated workflows and customer journeys that nurture leads from initial interest to repeat business for both products and subscriptions.
Email Marketing
: Craft targeted email campaigns aimed at both product buyers and subscribers, promoting new products, encouraging re-purchases, and retaining long-term customers.
Referral Programs
: Manage and optimize customer referral programs that drive
product sales
and
subscription sign-ups
, encouraging satisfied customers to spread the word.
Retail Sales Monitoring
: Collaborate with a broker to monitor and track retail sales performance. Analyze data and optimize branding and marketing strategies that align with retail goals and drive product sales.
Customer Feedback & Engagement
: Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand needs, pain points, and preferences, and use this data to inform acquisition and retention strategies.
Data-Driven Insights
: Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of campaigns (e.g., customer lifetime value, churn rates, customer acquisition costs). Provide insights and recommendations to improve strategy and optimize future efforts.
Collaboration
: Work closely with the broader marketing team--including content creators, social media managers, and customer service teams--to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
Experience
: 2+ years of experience in customer acquisition, retention, or loyalty marketing, preferably in e-commerce or subscription-based models.
Digital Marketing
: A strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including paid search, social media, email marketing, and conversion optimization for both product and subscription-based businesses.
Customer Lifecycle Expertise
: Expertise in managing customer lifecycles and developing strategies for
product sales
(e-commerce) and
subscription-based models
.
Data-Driven
: Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, and Recharge app analytics to track performance and optimize campaigns.
Email Marketing & Automation
: Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign) and marketing automation tools to manage customer journeys and workflows.
Strong Communication Skills
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging content and targeted messaging for both product customers and subscribers.
Tech-Savvy
: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Shopify, Salesforce), subscription management platforms (e.g., Recharge), and tools for tracking customer behavior and campaign performance.
Passion for Sustainability
: A genuine interest in eco-friendly products and sustainability practices is essential, as you will be promoting a brand that values environmental consciousness.
Bachelor's degree
in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
