Role Overview
We're seeking a detail-focused Custom Cabinet Assembly professional to turn precision-cut parts into completed cases ready for finishing and install. From dado and mortise-and-tenon joints to hardware fit-ups and final QC, you'll ensure each cabinet meets exacting standards--on spec, on time, every time. Key Responsibilities
Drawing Interpretation - Read and interpret shop drawings to assemble components with millimetre-perfect accuracy.
Joinery & Fastening - Use dado, mortise-and-tenon, screws, and adhesives to create rock-solid structures built to last.
Hardware Installation - Fit hinges, slides, and specialty mechanisms so doors and drawers glide like butter.
Quality Control - Inspect, square, and level every unit; catch and correct issues before they leave your station.
Tool & Workspace Care - Keep work areas organized and tools sharp, ensuring a clean, efficient workflow.
Collaborative Problem-Solving - Work with CNC, finishing, and install teams to resolve fit or design challenges quickly.
Safety & Efficiency - Follow best practices for PPE, lifting, and machine use while maintaining an efficient workflow.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 1-3 years in cabinet or millwork assembly (or equivalent woodworking background).
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, comfort with hand/power tools, and an eye for fine details.
Attributes: Dependable, self-motivated, and proud of producing work you'd put your name on.
Assets: Forklift license considered an asset, basic CNC knowledge, and a knack for continuous improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $18 - $28, commensurate with experience.
