Custodian
Mississauga
$19-$20/hr
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Monitor cleaning company activities of cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
- Wash windows, walls, and fixtures as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic and public areas
- Conduct minor maintenance and repairs such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and unclogging drains.
- Identify and report facility issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) to management for resolution.
- Assist maintenance staff with routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. oEnsure cleaning and maintenance equipment are in good working order.
- Coordinate with external cleaning, maintenance, and repair vendors for scheduled services or emergency work.
- Manage inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies; reorder as needed.
- Manage the breakrooms inventory, coffee, tea, water
- Create orders for breakroom supplies and cleaning supplies
-2-3 years of Custodian experience
-Basic Computer skills
-Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs at times
