Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks in the pub and some outside area's ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including , restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and recycling in accordance with company policies. Respond to emergency cleaning requests in a timely manner. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications

You must be bonded and able to pass a criminal check if we deem necessary.

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
