Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order within our store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. This role is essential in supporting a healthy environment through effective cleaning practices and facilities maintenance.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, and buffing as necessary. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established safety procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
