Custodian / Cleaner

7:15 PM to 1:45 AM - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Report to Office Manager and Plant Manager for maintenance activities. Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all areas of the manufacturing plant, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas. Perform daily housekeeping responsibilities such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and interior walls, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc. Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in designated bins. Follow all health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly. (toilet running, sink not draining, lights out, building damage, etc.) Assist in deep-cleaning projects and additional duties as required.

Seasonal duties include

; snow removal from walkways and emergency exits, and salting walkways and emergency exits. Complete additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Must have 2+ years of experience as a custodian in a manufacturing facility. Must be a team player and have the ability to work cohesively. Must be highly responsible & reliable; good attendance is mandatory. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals Ability to take and follow directions well. Proactive, respectful, good attitude. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
