Custodian / Cleaner

to join our team and help maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning space.

The Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of our cafe, bakery, and store areas. You'll play a key role in keeping our space clean and safe for both customers and staff, as well as assisting with stock and end-of-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility Clean and sanitize bathrooms Assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties in the bakery and store floor Take out trash and recycling Restock supplies as needed, including carrying wood, bags of flour and other ingredients from the basement area in support of our bakers Assist with stock management and rotation (may include lifting and moving boxes) Ensure storage areas are clean and organized Perform other general custodial duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and carry items up and down stairs Fluent in English (spoken and written) Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Positive attitude and team-oriented
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
