We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in our office facilities.

Position Overview

The Office Custodian will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of office spaces, lunchrooms, washrooms, and common areas. This role plays an important part in ensuring employees and visitors enjoy a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

Clean and sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, and high-touch surfaces

Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the facility

Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products

Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as needed

Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues

Ensure cleaning products are safely stored and used in accordance with WHMIS guidelines

Assist with occasional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning tasks

Follow all company safety and hygiene policies

Qualifications

Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning work preferred but not required

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and safety standards (WHMIS training an asset)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Must be dependable and trustworthy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
