Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and children. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste and recycling properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries while performing duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently
• Good physical stamina; ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check with clear vulnerable sector

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
