Our Lady of the Pillar Academy (OLPA) is an independent, not-for-profit Catholic elementary school serving students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. Founded by parents in 2012, OLPA is committed to supporting parents as the primary educators of their children. We provide a rich, Catholic educational experience, naturally and authentically presented, following a classically inspired curriculum for students to achieve their intellectual and spiritual potential.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing their tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. Restocking supplies and managing cleaning inventory. Routine maintenance checks and reporting necessary repairs. Assisting with setup for school events as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs. Comfortable working in a school environment.

Schedule:

15 hours per week, flexible scheduling available to accommodate personal needs.
