We are currently seeking a

full time Custodian

to provide cleaning and maintenance services across our four locations in Lake Country and Kelowna.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties:

Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean throughout all clinic areas Deep clean restrooms and restock supplies (refill soap, sanitizer, per products) Clean and disinfect waiting areas, exam rooms, offices, kitchens, and break rooms Empty and reline garbage and recycling bins Maintain cleanliness in high-touch and high-traffic areas

Light Maintenance Tasks:

Assist with rotating maintenance schedules Perform minor repairs (e.g., drywall patching, paint touch-ups, furniture fixes) Replace interior lightbulbs and basic door hardware Mount whiteboards, secure furniture, and assist with office setups Move office furniture or medical equipment as needed Conduct basic inspections of building systems (fire alarms, lighting, HVAC) Respond to occasional emergency callouts (e.g., water leaks, security alarms) Coordinate with external contractors for larger repairs or services Recommend repair options and source/pick up needed supplies

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of custodial or facility maintenance experience in a medical or similar environment Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality work with attention to detail Able to follow instructions and work independently without supervision Good communication and interpersonal skills and a professional attitude Physically able to handle routine custodial and maintenance tasks Physically capable of standing, bending, crouching, walking for long periods, and lifting 20-50 lbs as required Must have a valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a clear criminal record check

Hours of work may vary

depending on operational needs, and will include occasional after-hours callouts for urgent maintenance issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
