Job Description
Aboriginal Head Start [AHS] is an early learning program providing a range of early childhood development experiences for Indigenous children ages 3-5 addressing Culture and language, Health, Education and Nutrition. The program also offers activities to support and endorse parents and guardians as children's primary teachers through Parent and Family Involvement and community resource connections.
We are looking for a part time Custodian to join our Flin Flon Aboriginal Head Start Team for a Term Position
Hours of work:13 Hours a week (evenings and weekends) 39-40 weeks per year.
Wage: $15.80 - $17.00/hr
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in general custodian duties
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Multitasking and organizational skills to keep track of various responsibilities
• Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work as a team member or individually
• Knowledge of different cleaning supplies and necessary equipment
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child Abuse Registry Check is required.
