Overview

Goose and Gander is a British-inspired pub with a modern gastropub twist, serving the Campbell River community with quality food, drinks, and a warm atmosphere. We take pride in keeping our space clean, safe, and welcoming for both guests and staff. We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant, including guest areas, washrooms, and staff spaces. This is an important behind-the-scenes role that helps create the best possible experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dining areas, washrooms, bar area, patio and staff areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as required Take out garbage, recycling, and compost Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Perform light maintenance and report any repairs needed Follow health & safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

Previous cleaning/custodial experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done Ability to work independently and efficiently Reliability and punctuality are a must Flexible schedule - evenings and weekends may be required
