Pathways Health Centre for Children is a charitable not-for-profit family-centred community agency serving children and youth with physical, developmental and communication needs. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, the Centre provides a full range of pediatric rehabilitation and support services, largely funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. In addition, Pathways offers a therapeutic pool, open to people of all ages and abilities in the community and has a licensed, integrated childcare service on site (C.A.C.H.E.).

We are currently recruiting for a replacement to join our team of professionals as an:

Custodian

(Casual/Call-in)

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Building Services, the Custodian will be responsible for cleaning in accordance with Centre policies, procedures and established cleaning protocols.

This position will be covering the afternoon shift and candidates MUST be available to work 2 pm - 9 pm (7 hours).

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of institutional cleaning (preferred)

Knowledge of cleaning supplies and understanding of infection control protocols

Ability to carry out tasks without supervision

Safety Training including familiarity with WHMIS

Must be available to work flexible hours.

Salary Range -

$18.05 - $19.51

Requirements

A Police Vulnerable Sector Check and proof of applicable immunizations are also required.
