Custodian's perform cleaning and minor maintenance functions within assigned Municipally owned facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing washrooms and garbage removal.

What you can provide

:


Related experience in cleaning methods, equipment and procedures common in the care of large buildings. Current certification, or willingness and ability to attend training in WHMIS, Basic Workplace First Aid, Respect in the Workplace, Psychological Safety at work. Ability to provide clean Criminal Record and Child Abuse registry checks. Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills. Basic understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in a customer focused environment.
