Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Perform daily floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming. Replenish restroom supplies and maintain hygiene standards Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning needs during school hours Empty garbage and recycling bins Conduct minor repairs and report maintenance issues to personnel Assist with setup and cleanup for school events Lock and secure the building after shift completion Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment Weekly deep cleaning of classrooms Follow established safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Able to work in a school, This is a daytime custodial role. All cleaning duties must be performed during school hours to ensure real-time cleanliness and safety for students and staff.

Qualifications

Previous custodial experience preferred (especially in school ) but not required. Professional and respectful demeanor around students and staff. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights as needed for cleaning tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all Students and staff.
