Overview

Founders Food Hall and Market is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Custodian to help maintain our facility. We take immense pride in the appearance of our establishment, and we expect our Custodian to share this pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, thorough, and attentive to detail. While some professional custodial experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person.

Custodian Duties and Responsibilities:

-opening the Facility, including turning unlocking doors, turning on lights and turning on the music.

- Take out the trash and tidy up the premises

- Rearrange furniture and wipe surfaces as needed

- Sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpets

- Clean and sanitize all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

- Restock necessary items such as soap and paper products

- Perform general outdoor services, including sweeping entry areas, cleaning patio tables and chairs, and washing glass doors at entrances

- Lock down facilities at the end of the day, including securing doors, turning off lights, and turning off music

Custodian Requirements and Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Some professional experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role is a plus

- Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances and their maintenance

- Understanding of safety protocols for handling chemicals and hazardous materials - Detail-oriented and conscientious
-Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours and lift 30 lbs.
- able to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
