About the Role

Futures Canadian College is seeking an experienced PSW Curriculum Developer to design and update curriculum for our Personal Support Worker program. The ideal candidate must have prior experience submitting curriculum through PARIS (Program Approval & Registration Information System) and successfully obtaining program approval.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and update curriculum, course outlines, modules, and assessments for the PSW program. Prepare and submit program documentation through

PARIS

, ensuring compliance with Ministry standards. Ensure alignment with updated PSW standards and Ontario vocational requirements. Create lesson plans, evaluation tools, clinical placement guidelines, and learning resources. Integrate current healthcare practices, legislation, and industry trends into curriculum content. Collaborate with academic leadership to maintain program quality and accreditation. Revise curriculum as required based on ministry updates, audits, and feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health sciences, Nursing, Education, or related field. Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) or healthcare background. Minimum 3 years of curriculum development experience in PSW or healthcare programs. Prior instructor or teaching experience in a post-secondary, adult-learning, or healthcare education setting. Experience with

PARIS submission

and at least one approved curriculum. Strong knowledge of NACC standards, Ontario PSW program requirements, and vocational training regulations. Excellent written communication and project management skills.
