AAPS College is a leading Ontario career college specializing in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, and health-science education. As we continue to expand our program offerings, we are establishing a new Curriculum Development Office and are seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to support upcoming initiatives.
Position Summary
The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and revising academic programs and courses across a variety of disciplines. This role requires strong familiarity with Ontario's regulated postsecondary education environment, including frameworks and expectations set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB), and related bodies.
The ideal candidate brings experience in curriculum development, strong research and writing abilities, and a background or interest in science, technology, and emerging fields.
Key Responsibilities
Develop curriculum frameworks, course outlines, and program learning outcomes aligned with Ontario regulatory standards.
Conduct labour market analysis, environmental scans, and research to support new program development.
Prepare documentation for program submissions and internal approvals.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts and faculty to ensure curriculum quality and coherence.
Map learning outcomes, credit hours, assessments, and instructional strategies using outcomes-based education principles.
Support the creation of new programs in diverse subject areas, including emerging fields.
Ensure curriculum reflects industry requirements, competencies, and academic best practices.
Contribute to internal quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Science, or related fields preferred.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum design or program development in higher education or regulated training environments.
Strong understanding of the Ontario postsecondary regulatory landscape (MCU, PEQAB, credential frameworks, PCC Act, etc.).
Ability to conduct comprehensive research and synthesize findings into curriculum design.
Strong science, technical, or analytical background preferred.
Excellent writing, communication, and project-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage development timelines effectively.
Contract Details
6-month contract
with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
Full-time hours; on-site at 885 Sheppard Avenue West
Compensation commensurate with experience.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
