CIS, an Ontario Ministry of Education-authorized private school provider, is preparing to launch a next-generation Digital Learning Platform for Ontario-based elementary education.
We are seeking a
reliable, professional, and detail-oriented educator or academic team member who resides in central Toronto
and has
direct and complete access to the full Grade 1-8 D2L Brightspace content
developed in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education's official curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
D2L Curriculum Access & Content Provision
You must have complete access to the
Ontario D2L Brightspace VLE for Grades 1-8
, including full lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and assessments for all core subjects.
These ready-to-use materials will be migrated into CIS's private learning platform without modification or development delays.
You previously confirmed you already have access to and can provide these resources--we are seeking immediate validation and use.
Curriculum Structuring & Digital Migration
Collaborate with CIS's curriculum and LMS team to validate, organize, and structure course content for each subject and grade.
Align content with scope and sequence expectations and optimize for flipped/blended learning delivery.
Academic Representation for School Inspection
You must be based in
central Toronto (preferably near Yonge & Eglinton)
.
Remote Teacher Training & Platform Orientation
Provide guidance and onboarding support for teachers using the CIS platform.
Lead or support remote training sessions related to digital course delivery, instructional use of LMS tools, and curriculum engagement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Ontario-certified teacher (OCT preferred) OR currently in an academic/admin role with access to D2L Brightspace (Grades 1-8) pre-made lesson plans, etc.
Resides in
Toronto (must be available for a school verification visit by Ministry staff)
Deep familiarity with Ontario Elementary Curriculum in:
Language
Math
Science
Social Studies
Health & Physical Education
The Arts
Experienced with Google Drive, Zoom, and other digital collaboration tools
Able to commit to short-term representation at central Toronto school address location for school inpsection and training tasks as needed
