Minimum Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a grade of A or better. Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position. Knowledge and understanding of physical electronics and specifically: quantum mechanics & solid-state physics as it relates to semiconductor electronics and optoelectronics; physical models of semiconductor devices; pn junctions, bipolar transistors, metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors, semiconductor lasers and photodiodes. The course requirement includes a term paper and consequently a variety of topics will be covered by the students which demands the corrector to have excellent general knowledge of the subject.
