Requirements and Nature of Work:

Nature of Work

Research assistance needed analyze of a set of in-depth interviews conducted within a collaborative research project on adolescent girls\xe2\x80\x99 socio-educational trajectories in Senegal.

The RA\xe2\x80\x99s main tasks will be:

  • To get familiar with the research objectives and questions and the data
  • Build a thematic content analysis grid based in collaboration with the project leader
  • Manage and organize the data with the assistance of qualitative analysis software such as NVivo
  • Complement the data analysis with a literature review
  • Participate to the writing of a scientific article with the project research team
Minimum Qualifications

The candidates should be fluent in French (writing, reading and speaking) while being able to read in English as well in order to complement the data analysis with a literature review which mobilizes authors using both languages. They should have a preliminary experience in qualitative data analysis. Having used NVivo is a significant asset.
