The opportunity:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for liaising with the Ongomiizwin Project Manager, Ongomiizwin Executive Director, RFHS Vice Dean of Indigenous Health, Anti-Racism and Social Justice, and the Indigenous Cultural Safety Lead Facilitator and Mentors regarding the Indigenous Cultural Safety training. Additionally, the incumbent will also be responsible for liaising with Shared Health's Indigenous Health Lead, Shared Health IT support for the program and other Shared Health leadership and staff as required for their position.
This role is responsible for coordinating the administrative operations of the "We Will Take Good Care of the People" training program within the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences (RFHS) and the Manitoba health system through Shared Health and the SDOs. The incumbent ensures smooth scheduling, registration, and implementation of training initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders across multiple organizations. They maintain learning management systems registrations, track enrollment and completion data, and coordinate logistics for workshops and training sessions. Additionally, they support annual accreditation, manage travel and supply logistics, and assist in budget recommendations. The position also involves drafting and maintaining procedures, records, and manuals, and providing support to the Director of Anti-Racism on relevant initiatives. This position requires a strong organizational skillset, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, and the initiative to drive the training program's success.

The qualifications and experience we're looking for:
Completion of a formal training program in a related discipline from a recognized institute plus four years of directly related experience.
Knowledge of university regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program is preferred.
Knowledge of health system organization regulations, programs and procedures as they relate to the function/program is preferred.
Good understanding of training electronic information systems that are more complex IE learning management systems or other information systems is preferred.
Experience working in a First Nations, Metis and/or Inuit Healthcare setting is preferred
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate and establish work priorities and deadlines.
Must be analytical, conscientious, organized, accurate and precise in work routine with demonstrated proficiency in related applied office and computer skills.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and external partners
Must have attention to detail to ensure records are accurate and compiled on time and be able to multi-task as required.
Ability to provide advice, develop and present informational materials.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of internal and external contacts.
Must be able to directly report to various supervisors who oversee their work and who will provide priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with various partners internal and external is required.
Must understand, respect, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity with a well-developed sense of and attention to issues requiring discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adapt, prioritize, and proactively respond to emerging needs.
Must be able to work independently and in an organized and productive manner.
Must have the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
Demonstrated ability to make sound independent judgments and utilize problem-solving skills and abilities, within their area of responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to use MS Word programs at an advanced level for the purpose of statistical tracking and analysis, budgeting and word processing.
Shall be able to draft a variety of presentations using presentation software (PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi etc.) for different audiences.
With training, navigate two Learning Management Systems to enroll registrants and run reports as well as understand the WaitWell system.
A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
