One of the sunniest regions in BC's Lower Mainland, Delta embraces three unique communities - Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.



The City of Delta is looking for dynamic, creative and energetic Guitar and Ukulele instructor(s) to teach private beginner/intermediate lessons for children and adults. Instructors are responsible for the planning and delivery of quality instructional lessons. This position starts in January 2026.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and facilitate art/music classes for children and adults. Instructing, motivating, and inspiring students in their pursuit of artistic excellence. Engaging the learners in differentiated learning experiences according to the range of skill levels. Plan and deliver enjoyable, structured activities. Perform housekeeping task and put away equipment.

Qualifications

Experience teaching Ability to instruct beginner and intermediate musical skills Ability to work independently Flexible, self-motivated, and can take initiative with little supervision Excellent leadership, organizational and customer service skills. Creative and energetic teaching style where the students are engaged and active. Formal training in guitar/ukulele Post secondary education in music is an asset Applicants must be willing to work 2-4 hour shifts in Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta in evenings and/or weekends.
