Under the direction of the VP Academic, the Research Assistant is responsible for developing and updating current processes and communications on cultural activities within FNUniv. This is a Part Time position working up to 14 hours per week until March 31, 2026.



Duties:



Updating current pamphlets and creating new pamphlets on protocols and teachings Chair Northern Campus Cultural Committee Developing handbooks to outline processes and procedures Prepare social media updates Developing and distributing internal newsletter Plan and coordinate staff cultural retreats Make knowledge transmission accessible to students to share with friends, family, and community Other duties as required

Qualifications:



Applicants should have at least 3 years of undergraduate education. Must have good academic skills, be able to work independently, have some cultural knowledge, and able to work after hours if needed. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Understanding and connection to the Indigenous community. Experience working with cultural activities. Working knowledge of developing and implementing work processes. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
